Letter from your employer(s) that you can work from Spain Proof of working relationship of at least 3 months with employer(s) Proof that your employer(s) has been trading for more than 12 months If employed or self-employed certificate confirming payment of social security in your home country Private medical insurance.

Clean Criminal Certificate covering last 2 years*

 If married and applying with a spouse, duplicate marriage certificate*

 Minimum income main applicant is €2,520 per month. For a spouse €945 per month. For dependent child €315 per month. If so, the Digital Nomad Visa could be the Spanish VISA for you! 

In Spain Married couple €3,465 per month. Family of three €3,780 per month.

HOW TO APPLY?

 If you apply for the visa at the Spanish Consulate in your home country

 Visa for International Teleworkers. If you apply in Spain

 Residency Authorisation for International Teleworker We present your application electronically to the Foreigners Office Approval of the residency is 20 days Residency approval up to 3 years as opposed to 1 year if applied at a Spanish Consulate in your home country Saving on Spanish Consulate application fees if applied for in Spain.

There are two ways to apply.

If you apply for the visa at the Spanish Consulate in your home country = Visa for International Teleworkers. 

If you apply in Spain = Residency Authorisation for International Teleworker

We recommend you apply for the Residency Authorisation for International Teleworker when you arrive in Spain for the following reasons.

TAX RESIDENCY

More than 183 days in Spain in a calendar year = tax resident and liable to pay tax in Spain on worldwide assets and income. However, as a Digital Nomad you will only pay income tax in Spain on the income you generate from the overseas company. We can introduce you to a tax specialist to discuss your position.

RENEWAL

The initial authorisation of the Visa will be granted for up to 3 years and renewable there after.
